A LEGACY OF MOUNTAIN BIKING
WE ARE BACK ON TRACK WITH THE FIRST RACE OF THE GSR CALENDAR. THE RACE IS HOSTED AT PURGATORY RESORT, HOME OF THE INAUGURAL UCI WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP IN 1990. WE FEEL SO LUCKY TO HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO BRING OUR FORMAT TO THIS HISTORIC MTB VENUE.
TRAILS AT THIS PARK ARE FAST AND FLOWEY. PLENTY OF FAST SECTIONS ON DIVINITY AND DIGGLER, WHILE PIRATE BRINGS STEEP AND CHUNKY SECTIONS. WHISPERS OF THE RETURN OF THE FAMOUS WORLD CUP COURSE MAKING A RETURN FOR THIS RACE AS WELL. TO TOP IT OFF THERES PLENTY OF GOOD DIRT AT PURG. SEE YOU THERE!
Social Distancing Notes
Bring all of your water and food needs. We will not have onsite support.
Face coverings in the chip pick up and drop off area
We urge riders to practice social distancing

Video riders meeting
Check ins and chip pick up times by class to avoid lines
Chips will be in sealed bags and assigned to riders prior to the event
Riders will turn on, download info, and turn off the timing chips
Limited rider count
6’ lines painted at start lines and check in area
Timing up on our website an hour after the last racer finishes
