CRESTED BUTTE

Crested Butte is known as one of the birthplaces of mountain biking, and enthusiasm for the sport continues today throughout the Gunnison Valley. The Crested Butte Mountain Bike Park was established in 2009. It includes a vast trail network with 30+ miles of singletrack, offering both lift-served downhill and cross-country rides that connect to some of the legendary rides in and around Crested Butte. CBMR is thrilled to partner with Downhill Rockies and be a part of the resurgence of regional downhill mountain bike racing competitions in the Rocky Mountains.
Race headquarters and registration will be next to Silver Queen Express in the base area. Participants must have a bike haul ticket or season-long bike haul pass to reach the start line via Red Lady Express. Discounted lift tickets will be available for racers ($25) and spectators ($30) and may be purchased in-person at the Treasury Center Ticket Office on the day of the event. Those in town for the event are also welcome to use our discount code for 10% off lodging. Book your stay for a few extra days, and spend some time exploring the world class backcountry trails of Crested Butte, and experience all this valley has to offer.
